Monday 10th July 2017

We have been offered some free tickets to a comedy show for children at the Udderbelly Festival, on the Southbank on Saturday 15th July 3.30-4.30.  The show is called Comedy Club 4 Kids and is aimed at ages 6-11.  If you would like some of these tickets, please see Dee in the office by Wednesday 12th July, telling her how many tickets you would like.  Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.   You will receive a letter from Leila Kent on Thursday 13th July, informing you of how many tickets you will be given.

Also, please make sure you read the important Post below, first published yesterday:

Dear Parents,

As we are about to embark on the final fortnight of the academic year there are still a lot of events taking place so make sure you keep checking the school calendar on the website and the notice board in the classroom.
Hopefully you have all received the end of year reports but if not they can still be collected for the rest of this week from the class teacher. Next week they can be collected from the office.
This week is incredibly busy.
We have the end of year learning celebrations which take place on the following days:
Yrs 3,4&5 on Monday 2.30-4pm
Yrs 1&2 on Tuesday 2.30-4pm
Nursery & Reception 2.30-4pm.
On these days the children will be told what class they are in and who their new teacher will be for Autumn 2017.
On Wednesday all the pupils will spend time in their new classrooms with their new teachers.

Please make sure you sign up for school gateway in order to receive emails from the school. On Wednesday we will send an email to the parents showing the staffing structure for next year.

This week we are hoping to have our sports days – as Hamid is in the process of organising a different venue for these we are unable to confirm the day and time. However we will send out texts to parents to let them know as soon as we have anything confirmed.

As well as all of these important pieces of news, there are trips taking place and of course the annual Year 6 performances on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please do buy a ticket and come along and support Year 6.

Looking forward to seeing you all over the next couple of weeks.
