Caring for the Community and the World Around Us

At the end of last academic year, Oxford Gardens entered a competition and Troll class won!

We were contacted by RBKC who are currently building some new homes close by to the school. They set up a competition with contractors, Willmott Dixon, to engage with local schools and residents to create a lasting impact on the area that goes beyond the construction work taking place. The competition was to design the hoardings, which will go around the site for the duration of the building scheme. The theme was, ‘Caring for the community and the world around us’.

Today, some representatives from last year’s Troll class, went along to see their artwork unveiled by a local councilor. You can see some photos for the final artwork below. It is displayed on Hewer Street along with artwork from other local schools if anyone would like to wander by and have a look.
